How we’re staying safe & healthy
Atkinson Construction’s paramount concern is our team’s health and wellness and the communities that we operate within. As per the recommendations of Alberta Health Services and the Chief Medical Officer, we continue to adapt and monitor risks within our workplaces.
The safety measures we have put forth to prevent exposure to the pandemic are as follows:
Limited visitors to project sites and office
Increased cleaning activities on our project sites and office
Using technology like video and phone conferencing whenever possible to supplement in-person meetings
Requiring employees to work from home when feeling any symptoms of sickness
Restricting all non-essential travel
The state of our operations
Our operational capacity as a business remains steady since the onset of the pandemic. We can leverage a variety of technology to ensure our clients and projects have access to the appropriate amount of collaboration at all times.
We are actively monitoring the situation and adhere to the recommendations of Alberta Health Services and the Government of Canada. We will continue our operations as long as it is safe to do so, and as our clients and government allow. These are challenging times, but we will strive to enhance our best practices to suit whatever challenges we encounter.
Atkinson Construction’s paramount concern is our team’s health and wellness and the communities that we operate within.
