Atkinson Construction is a general contractor, based in Spruce Grove, we specialize in design-build projects, commercial renovations, and steel building systems. Our projects have taken our team into many different communities across Alberta—from High Prairie to Edmonton and beyond.

Safety is always a top priority
At ACL, we are very safety conscious. Our WCB rating is the highest possible class, and we have qualified for PIR (Partners in Injury Reduction) and COR (Certification of Recognition). The COR is a very involved process, which includes annual internal safety audits and an external audit conducted by a COR-selected peer company every three years.
We have also created an in-depth Company Safety Manual made up of safe work procedures and policies, hazard assessments, and guidelines for performing work safely and effectively to ensure project quality, budget, and schedule. Our company complies with all relevant legislation and policies to provide safe work settings for employees, clients, and anyone affected by our construction activities.
Employees are our company’s most valuable asset, and we commit to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and those associated with ACL.
